DevJam 2012 Call fro Presenters

As you may have guessed by now, there is no session this month (November). We will have a meeting in December however and it will be our annual DevJam event. If you haven't attended before, DevJam is an event where 6(ish) people will present for 10 minutes each and the audience will vote for their favorites. The best presentations will win prizes and there's usually door-prizes just for showing up! (Prizes for this year are still being organized).

The event is 4 weeks away and I need some volunteers to present interesting topics. You'll only need to talk for 10 minutes and you can talk about whatever interests you (as long as it is related to .NET). If you got mono working on your RasberryPi this year, pushed a Windows 8 application into the store for the big release day or anything else, we all want to hear from you. Last year first prize was an Xbox 360 with a Kinect for 10 minutes on stage! Madness I tell you.

If you have an idea and would like to present please send me an email at with the subject line "DevJam 2012 Presentation". We'll announce who's presenting (hopefully with prize information) on the 22nd November (in two weeks from now). Places are limited so the earlier you get back to me the better.

Also, Readify are having a Developer Breakfast on Tuesday the 27th November. The topic is Modern Apps, Modern Processes and $20 gets you breakfast and great content. To learn more about the event head over to
